Child(ren) can be dropped off at 8:30am and picked up at 5:30pm. • Lunch, snacks and water must be provided in a labelled lunch bag. • Children must bring swimsuits and towels every day. An extra change of clothing is recommended. • We require a signed copy of our Camp Cranberry Code of Conduct submitted at the time of registration. Liability Waiver I recognize that a risk of injury or potential health risks may exist in participation in the above named program/activity. I hereby willingly assume such risks for the above named person for whom I am in law responsible and assume full responsibility during and after their participation in the program. The Cranberry Resort cannot be responsible for risk willingly assumed, and I therefore hereby release and forever discharge the Cranberry Resort from all actions, damages, claims and demands whatsoever arising from participation in the program or any associated activities. Camp Cranberry Code of Conduct Thank-you for choosing Cranberry for your camp needs! Please be advised that our camp is committed to the safety and happiness of all of our campers and we have implemented this Code of Conduct to preserve just that. It is important to note that all of our camp counsellors, recreation team members and lifeguards as well as management will strictly adhere to this code and ensure it is upheld by all campers and parents. If the code is violated in any way by any camper or parent/guardian thereof, it is understood that said parties will be removed from Camp Cranberry and not permitted to return. No refunds will be issued in this event. 1. It is understood that violence (physical, verbal, emotional or otherwise) will not be tolerated, whether it be directed at campers, counsellors, parents and/or Cranberry staff members. 2. It is understood that any camper/parent/staff member infected with a communicable disease will not be admitted to camp. Please note that viruses such as the common cold and head lice fall under this category. Any infected individuals will only be permitted to return to camp if/when they have been treated and a doctor’s note has been provided to Management. 3. It is understood that all campers must be fully potty trained and able to use restroom facilities of their own accord. If a camper has an accident while at camp, it is up to the discretion of Management and camp staff whether that camper will be permitted to return to camp. 4. It is understood that camp payment must be received in full at the time of registration and that spots cannot be reserved without payment under any circumstances. 5. It is understood that refunds will not be issued once payment has been processed except in extreme circumstances (ie. death in family, serious injury, serious illness). It is up to the discretion of Management to determine if/when such refunds will be allocated. 6. It is understood that any children under the age of twelve (12) will be required to complete a swim test at the beginning of each camp week. Any children deemed unfit to swim without a life jacket at the discretion of a lifeguard will be required to wear one throughout the week. Life jackets are supplied by Camp Cranberry, however campers may bring their own PFD if they so desire. 7. It is understood that no camper shall bring any food(s) containing peanuts or tree nuts to camp. 8. It is understood that campers will only be placed in the camp that corresponds with their age and that siblings/friends in different age groups will not be placed together, regardless of parent requests. This is to ensure our campers are in the environment that is best suited to their relative stage of development and that our camper-to-counsellor ratios are maintained properly. 9. It is understood that our camper-to-counsellor ratio is 1:10 for children ages 7-14 and 1:6 for campers ages 4-6. The exception to this rule is March Break Camp where camper-to-counsellor ratios are 1:8 regardless of age. 10. It is understood that any camper diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, CD or any other disorder/learning disability/physical disability must be accompanied by a PCW or facsimile thereof. 11. It is understood that any camper who consistently defies/disobeys directions from counsellors and Cranberry staff or who deliberately disrupts campers/camp programming on a regular basis may not be permitted to return to camp at the discretion of camp staff and/or Management. 12. It is understood that campers must wear their camp t-shirt every day. If a camper is not wearing his/her shirt, it is understood that s/he will be sent home and not permitted to return until s/he is wearing it. 13. It is understood that campers may only be dropped off or picked up by individuals who have been identified on registration forms. Anyone dropping off or picking up must be prepared to present valid photo ID (drivers’ licence, passport, health card) if requested by camp counsellors. 14. It is understood that all campers under the age of 16 must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian every day of camp. 15. It is understood that Camp Cranberry is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
