Cranberry Resort is committed to giving back to the community within which it operates. Below are a few recent initiatives that we are proud to share.
Cranberry Youth Project - Since Fall 2008, Cranberry Resort has organized and sponsored a local youth project to help build leadership among high school students and at the same time provide a free after-school program for middle-school students. Our partners in this groundbreaking project include Collingwood’s Public Library, Collingwood’s Collegiate, a number of nearby elementary schools, Optimist Club, a youth agency, and a non-profit educational organization - Licensed to Learn (L2L). The partners, as well as the young people and their parents, all find the program beneficial and would like to see it continued in Collingwood. In the coming school year, we are planning to expand it to include other interested local schools.

Ongoing golf tournaments for local charity causes - Cranberry Resort has continued to host and sponsor a number of golf tournaments to raise funds for Collingwood’s Public Library and non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.
One-Dollar Campaign for Collingwood’s Hospital – Our resort has launched a charitable campaign by inviting guests who check in to donate voluntarily $1 to support Collingwood’s Hospital, which serves both local and out-of-town patients. The response so far has been very positive.
Sponsoring staff participating in charity causes – The Company has sponsored a few staff members who volunteered themselves in local charity projects, such as walkathons. Upon review, the company will continue to support staff members who take part in chartable causes for the local community.
